Sensory Care was set up by Mark Pattison, a psychiatric nursing student to help increase the level of care offered through homes, residential homes, hospitals as well as the care homes. I found that although patients need to be checked on a regular basis this is in fact proving ever more challenging for members of staff due to ever increasing workloads. Residents can be checked on throughout the night on the hour every hour however if Mr Smith (for example) falls out of bed at five past the hour it is possible that he won?t be checked on for another 55 minutes. This is the same in the family home. If your loved one does fall out of bed and they are unconscious or wondering around your home whilst you sleep there is no way of knowing. I want to help and to offer you a simply solution.
