Watercolours, oils, photography, ceramics, sculpture and more. All on display and most for sale, in what has become one of the most important art exhibitions in the County, now in its 27thyear. We expect more than 300 works of art from both professional and amateur artists. Open Saturday 10th March 10.30-5pm & Sunday 11th March 10:30 - 4pm. Admission £2 includes coffee and biscuits.

Somewhere between a sketch and a cabaret show with warm, gentle audience participation where you’re usually asked to don the odd feather boa, daft hat or fake moustache and join in with some community singing. This year they have collected stories about love from people aged 2-92, stories about your favourite toy, heartthrob pop stars, love at first sight, awkward crushes and full on chocolate addiction.

Leicestershire author Mike P Wright will give the first of the New Countesthorpe Library Talks. "Holy Bones Blues' is due to be published in February 2018 and Mike will give us his thoughts on his most recent novel. "The next ‘big’ project will be The Holy Bones Blues, which brings my writing back to a Leicester location. As a Leicester lad, that will be an exciting venture for me." Tickets £5 each from The Library or email or call the Active Arts Hotline, includes a glass of wine and some nibbles. Any profits will be given to the Library.
