17th April 2010 [Saturday] Active Arts Portrait Masterclass Workshop 10am to 3pm - Countesthorpe College
Geoff Beasley is a professional artist working from his studio in Leicester. He has produced a series of drawings around many Leicester topics and places. For his MA in Fine Art he worked at a Sikh Temple producing many portraits and figure studies over a two year period. He has had placements at Leicester City Football Club, the Leicester International Music Festival, and the Haymarket Theatre. He is presently artist in resident at Rockingham School in Corby.

The Baptist Chapel is celebrating 200 years of Sunday school 1810-2010 With an Anniversary service ~ Exhibition ~ and buffet lunch free event open to all the community.
