This is a flexible, interesting, and varied post supporting a pro-active and community focused Parish Council. The role requires a dynamic and forward-thinking person interested in Countesthorpe Village, a community in excess of 7000 residents. This vacancy has arisen due to the retirement of the existing manager.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent administrative skills and have a knowledge of financial procedures. Ideally the applicant would have previous local government experience, but training will be offered as the post holder would require knowledge of parish council statutory duties, activities and systems.
The applicant will hold the CiLCA qualification, or be prepared to obtain this, for which time would be allowed.
Hours will be 35 hours per week (flexibility will be required to attend evening meetings).
Salary – minimum of £35,000, negotiable for the right candidate, plus enrolment in the Local Government Pension Scheme.
