The Rainbow Shop is the Village’s own Charity Shop

The Rainbow Shop has been trading in Countesthorpe since 1984. It is situated in The Bridge next to St. Andrew’s Church and opposite the Co-op in Main Street.

The aims of the shop are to raise money to help the world’s poorest people and to provide a friendly drop-in centre for anyone.

You will be made very welcome by the friendly staff of volunteers to sit and enjoy a cuppa and a chat.

It has donated more than £300,000 to Christian Aid to help fund their many projects all over the world.

The shop sells good-as-new clothing, cards, books, jigsaws, toys, and bric-a-brac. It accepts donations of these items.
