DO YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW TO USE A DEFIBRILLATOR?

Published: 15 September 2021

Did you know there are three defibrillators in Countesthorpe which can be accessed 24/7? And if so, are you confident in how to use one?

Countesthorpe Parish Council is responsible for two of the defibrillators and is now arranging, through a qualified trainer, free training sessions open for local residents to come along and learn how to use these vital life-saving pieces of equipment.

These sessions are expected to be around one and half hours in length and be run in small groups in a covid-safe manner. They will cover CPR and how to become confident in the use of a defibrillator. If you are interested in joining a session, please email the Parish Council office at manager@countesthorpeparishcouncil.co.uk. Please provide your name, contact telephone number and the number of places you require to book. Ideally those taking part should be 14 years or over.

We will contact you when training dates are confirmed. Depending on take-up, additional sessions may be arranged for the future.

We look forward to welcoming you.
